Welcome back to Te Pae: Amazing beach theatre shows and a housing trust

This Sunday on the first Te Pae Paekakariki Community Radio Show of the year Rachel Benefield and Mark Amery have a conversation with some of the creators and audience members of an incredible giant performance in Queen Elizabeth Park back in February 1983, Eyeball Eyeball (see video below). 34 years ago this month. This is a precursor to this Saturday night February 4th new beach community performance The Ship Show, and Zelda Edwards and Jess Hortop from the team will be in to tell us more and to perform some excerpts. Mark and Tina Pope introduce the work of the Paekakariki Housing Trust Group which formed late in 2016 and have some big news. And we play the very best tribute to thre late Ian Johnston of Coffee@Ians and BP Paekakariki. All on Paekakariki 88.2FM, streaming at www.paekakariki.fm and brought to you with the help of the Beach Road Deli.
