None of this has\u00a0anything to do with his Paekakariki FM radio show, Reptile Radio.\u00a0Well, maybe a little. Sam says his music has an unspoken political message of its own. It\u2019s\u00a0mostly rock, \u201call over the spectrum,\u201d he says, \u201cfeaturing fairly obscure bands. Such as &#8211; (for\u00a0those in the know) &#8211; Menno Huibers and the Raskolnikovs who play Paekakariki regularly\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sam is a DOC Hut Ranger, working mainly central North Island and mainly summer &#8211; week\u00a0on \u2013 week off. There\u2019s a lot about Sam that\u2019s worth knowing.
