Te Pae Sunday June 18

Rachel and Prue had a very full show (started late – technical problems!)- starting with Robert Dussler as neighbour of the week – cellist and cello teacher, former theatre professional in Germany, resident of Findhorn, Scotland and now for many years resident of Paekakariki – he even brought in the latest Lorde CD and we played a track. Then Doris Zuur told us about the Action Station’s project to create a People’s Agenda for Aotearoa, involving the views of many thousands of NZers. By hosting a small group for a meal or coffee and talking about values and plans for NZ, with a well planned agenda, you can contribute to this worthwhile project, as Doris did last night with a group of 8 people – she found it inspiring. And finally Paul Callister talked about the important Pest Workshop held yesterday – he gave some fascinating insights into pest eradication and future technological improvements – how well the birds are coming back is a measure of some success to date. Listen to the show all week from 12 to 1 or 6 to 7
