Paekakariki Peoples. join our local on-air discussion. This week on Te Pae your community listening perch (12-2pm, 6-8pm 88.2FM) Mark Amery and Andy McKay talk Mountain Biking in Kapiti in the second hour with Steve Lewis from the Kapiti Mountain Biking Club and local rider John Cruickshanks, and Paekakariki Painters in the first hour with brilliant holders of the brush Harriet Bright and Elspeth Shannon (they show together at the NZ Portrait Gallery from November 6). We catch up on the new season for the Paekakariki Tennis Club (its cheap and fun for the whole family people!) with Kim Leavesley after Community Notices at 1/7pm, and finish off with a reading from Michael O’Leary from his railway poems, being published this weekend.

Te Pae is brought to you with the support of the Beach Road Deli. 12-2pm and 6-8pm daily. Next week we have a new Spring schedule that sees Te Pae drop from a two-hour programme to one-hour to allow other community goodness in.

Thanks to the Te Pae production team for their mahi.
