Rewild yourself on Te Pae 19-26 February

This week on Te Pae, Paekakariki’s community radio show (88.2Fm and www.paekakariki.fm) – bursting at the seams with local news, events and opinions – our featured neighbour of the week is the fabulous Liana Stupples. An enormously experienced and creative facilitator with people, Liana’s passion is connecting people and nature, with flair. a strategist, outdoor instructor, song leader and artist, she works with others to help them thrive. Rewild yourself is her programme to give people nature adventures and her latest big project is Liana’s Parlour of Natural Beauty a creative installation- part of the Common Ground Public Art Festival 25 February – 4 March in the Hutt – engaging people with the health and wellbeing benefits of caring for nature and our rivers and streams. Liana is a big part of our local Streams group and Paekakariki’s Scouts and also in the studio  is Keas Leader Michael Lloyd and Kea Sofia Lloyd. Finally, our community reporter Amelia Nurse joins us to update us on the first community board meeting of the year and the recent theatre extravaganza The Ship Show. You’re hosted by Amy, Mark and Suzy and you can hear us 12noon and 6pm daily.
