Maths, the elderly, the youth and abundance – Te Pae – 9-15 March

Kia ora friends, This week on your community radio show Te Pae (12noon and 6pm daily, community notices halfway through) we have the pleasure first up of live music with local, Neil Gardiner, a “What the…?” segment looking at what the heck to do with abundant garden crops with local gardeners, Tina Pope and Stacey Gasson and Al Wilson is in to introduce us to mathematics just after 6.30,a s well as our irregular slot of a selection from the Healthy Options Bookstore fridge. Emily is back with Community Notices  and our Squawk tonight is with Grace Ewens from the Kapiti Youth Centre.

To balance that our panel discussion (1.15pm/7.15pm) is focused on Elderly in our Village and the challenges and benefits they face living here. Finally, Jill Ward, poet from Paekakariki North (Raumati) is with us for Spoken Word.

Remember you can find heaps of Paekakariki content online at www.paekakariki.org.nz where we also stream the radio on the internet.

We also love feedback and ideas so email us on [email protected] or leave comments on Facebook. Thanks to sponsor Beach Road Deli, and  the team producer Rebecca Thomson, Mark Coote, Sylvia Bagnall, Louise Thornley, Emily, Harriet Bright and others!
