And this week on Te Pae (6-8pm and 12-2pm daily), we have live music from Paekakariki groovers The Last ResortTe Umu-a-riki is back with us in a regular slot celebrating Te Reo Maori, The issue of the week is a look back at the history of rail and its life today – and Paekakariki’s special place in it – as we celebrate 150 years of rail in NZ (with Michael O’Leary, Wayne Mason and Anthony Dreaver), and Community Notices with Emily (1pm and 7pm daily). Squawk of the Week is with new  Paekakariki Playcentre Co-President Maria Cameron ahead of next Saturdays community Bonanza, our neighbour of the week is the coordinator of Paekakariki’s Greenest Streets Project, general re-use queen and Ames Street parent, Vicky Noon, and we have spoken Word with the precious Sylvia Bagnall.
