5pm: Paekakariki Pop
Sophie and her friends Pippa and Leila have put together a show of their favorite songs. They will be playing songs current from the pop charts and more.
6pm: Te Pae/ The Perch
This week with Kaia Hawkins a bit of a parent/child theme, Rori Evans plays folk live in the studio, and our neighbour of the week is dad Steve Evans,of Beltona Resonators. From a workshop in Tangahoe Street he makes hand-made lightweight aluminium resonator mandolins, guitars and ukuleles worldwide. Meet the man who worked with Mark Knopfler and sold a guitar to Eric Clapton (which he later sold at a charity auction for 40,000 pounds). Squawk of the week is about Taekwondo with Master Barry (Kaia’s dad). Janet Holborrow provides a Community Board update, and there’s sports report with Clinton. Issue of the week is Marriage Equality: What does the success of the marriage amendment bill mean to people in Paekakariki? We are joined by Jenny Rowan and Jools Joslin, Liz Kennedy and Prue Hyman. And in our spoken word slot writer Kelly Joseph.
8pm: Viva la French Paekakariki
Shona and Sebastian present in English and French, stories and an eclectic mix of old and new music from all over the world with an emphasis on French culture and ancient music
9pm: The Weather Girls
DJ Fred and DJ Lavender focus on female artists (although not exclusively), interspersed `with weather related topics.
10pm: Calvinball -the show with no rules
Laurence and Hugo play a wide variety of music ranging from metal to electronic and rap, and discuss weird and wonderful topics.
