All new shows on the radio this week, starting Sunday at 2pm. On this week’s Te Pae (streaming www.paekakariki.org.nz) with Mark Amery and Andy McKay on Paekakariki 88.2Fm 6-8pm and 12-2pm daily. In the first hour we have musician and composer Michelle Scullion playing live in the studio, and Geoff Osgood joins us to discuss this weeks’ resin discharge into the Wainui Stream from stormwater upgrade work. We announce the winner of the The Reusable Shopping Bag Design Competition winner on Community Notices at 7. In the second hour we have an update from the Paekakariki Community Fire Brigade on recent activity and our neighbour of the week is Sarah Maxey, an exceptional typographer, lettering and graphic artist, with a love of language and lettering. We end with  Julia Truscott reading from a started novel with the working title “The Worst Years of My Life at the End of the World”
